Barça Lassa 77–73 Iberostar Tenerife: Strong second half yields win

Svetislav Pesic coaches Barça to victory in his 200th game with the team

Chris Singleton's double-double (12 points and 12 rebounds) led Barça Lassa to a 77-73 win over Iberostar Tenerife in Sunday night ACB action at the Palau Blaugrana. Barça went on a 20-7 third quarter run and had a strong fourth quarter.

Both teams had sustained runs in the first half, with Tenerife leading both at the end of the first quarter (21-17) and at halftime (41-36). But when the teams came out for the third quarter, Barça went on an 8-0 run that lit a spark that would see the Catalans catch fire for the remained of the game. Thomas Heurtel scored all 11 of his points in the second half, and after a 20-7 run, Barça led, 56-48 at the end of the third.

Barça extended their lead in the fourth quarter, going up by 64-53. Tenerife shot well down the stretch but could not mount a comeback.

The win keeps Barça in first place with 10 wins and one loss in 11 games.
