Barça 94-76 Partizan: Resounding win at the Palau

The blaugranes shine in attack and defeat the Serbians in the penultimate EuroLeague home game of the regular season

A resounding 94-76 win for Barça against Partizan Belgrade, as an attack including Rokas Jokubaitis (13), Laprovittola (17), Jabari Parker (12) and Hernangómez (15) shone brightly. Another notable performance from Ricky with seven points, six assists and six rebounds.

Slow burner before the blaugranes fire

The blaugranes took time to get into the game, Partizan taking an early 0-6 lead through Aleksa Avramovic. The home side reaction came after three minutes when Jabari Parker scored after the coach had called a time out. Ricky Rubio changed the game on entering the court, helping the Catalans come back, ably assisted by a very lively Jokubaitis and Hernangómez. By the end of the first Barça were 27-24 up as they got to grips with the visitor's strategy.

With players from the Club's different professional sides watching on, the blaugranes came out for the second quarter with the same intensity. Ricky and Willy continued to link up majestically and despite Avramovic's best efforts to redress the balance, Barça went in 51-48 up at half-time.

Second half domination

Constant attacks for Barça after the break and they managed to go +15 (67-52) after a Ricky three-pointer. The 'showtime' went on and the Palau crowd were really enjoying the players' performance, another cute pass from Ricky reaching Hernangómez whose finish brought the Palau to their feet. Leday and Punter helped to keep the scoreline respectable but it was still 74-68 with a quarter to go.

No change in the final 10 minutes, as Partizan couldn't find a solution to Barça's brillance. A 12-4 partial score saw the blaugranes seal the resounding win at the start of the quarter, which ended 94-76, with Laprovittola receiving the applause after he left the court.
