Valencia 64-87 Barça: One way ticket to the semi-finals

The blaugranes wrap up the tie with a win away from home and now will face Unicaja Málaga in the semi-finals of the league play off

Barça are now in the semi-finals of the league play off following a comprehensive 87-64 victory over Valencia. A 58% success rate in three pointers, making 18 of 31 in the game, established a new record in the play offs and Satoransky with 14 points and Mirotic with 13 top scored. 

Switched on from the start 

The game in the Pabellón Font de Sant Lluís started in great style for the blaugranes with Mirotic leading the way with eight points in the opening quarter. The efforts of the Montenegrin and Abrines' precision from the three point line handed Saras Jasikevicius' team a 26-13 lead a the end of the first period. 

The second quarter saw Kyle Kuric nail a three pointer right at the start to set the tone and Barça went close to a 20 point advantage before settling for a 43-26 lead at half time. 

In the second half the dynamic remained the same. Saras' side dominated and 7/8 from the three point line gave the blaugranes a commanding 67-45 lead with just a quarter remaining. In the final quarter the pace slowed a little but there was enough in the tank for Barça to score a record 18 three pointers in the eventual 87-64 win which hands them a semi-final against Unicaja.
