Nikola Mirotic has been named in the 2021/22 All-EuroLeague First Team together with Larkin, James, Vezenkov and Tavares. One of these will be collecting the MVP award for the season, to be announced in Belgrade next week.
Exceptional year
Mirotic has averaged 16.6 points and 5.1 rebounds this season, and led Barça (21-7) in the regular season and through to the Final Four with a 3-2 series win against Bayern Munich.
He shot an amazing 65.6% in 2-pointers, 45% in 3-pointers and 87.5% in free throws. His overall performance rating of 19.4 is simply superlative.
Consistency
His best game this season was at the Palau against Real Madrid where he was rated with a score of 39 following 31 points and 10 rebounds in 29 minutes. His rating has been 20+ in 19 games, and has been in double figures in 32 out of 36 appearances.
