50 years of the Palau celebration on May 1!

Barça play San Pablo Burgos in the Liga Endesa at 12.30pm CEST May 1 on what will prove to be a very special date. The Club has organised a major event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Palau Blaugrana - every professional sport has had or will have a commemorative day - along with all season ticket holders, members and culers attending the game.

Commemorative events

Before the game from 11.00 CEST onwards, Barça basketball legends will be signing autographs in the Camp Nou Barça Store. However, everyone will need to be in their seats and ready for the surprise spectacle from 12.00 CEST.

The Palau floor will provide the backdrop for a superb mapping show featuring highlights from Barca's basketball history. This will be followed by a team presentation including special effects never seen before in the Palau Blaugrana.

Tribute to days gone by

Half-time will see a tribute to different Barça legends, accompanied by images projected using mapping. The names of every basketball player to have played in the Palau over the past 50 years will be shown.

However, that's just the half-time show. The entertainment will continue as the game progresses, with jerseys raining down and different acrobatic or dancing basketball-themed shows.
