MoraBanc Andorra 74-86 FC Barcelona: A win in the Pyrenees

Saras Jasikevicius' make up for a slow start to eventually end the week with a comfortable victory

After a defeat two days ago, Barça bounced straight back with an impressive win at MoraBanc Andorra. The home side dominated the first period, but the blaugrana were much the better team from then on.

Andorra’s 7-0 streak to go 19-15 got the alarm bells ringing in the Barça camp, and a 5-0 to start the second period just made matters more worrying still. But that’s when Dante Exum and Laprovittola in particular started to deliver and by the interval it was the visitors who were in control.

The Aussie Exum was playing one of his finest games for Barça and with 3-pointers finding the mark and the defensive rebounds nicely controlled, they started building on their lead.

Andorra, however, has said their last bit and began to cut into the margin, meaning Barça needed to keep their wits about them in the final ten. And they did, eventually winning by 12 and even able to give some of the younger players a few minutes at the end. Next up… It’s Real Madrid again!
