Barça 83–63 Cosuur Real Betis: Great day at the Palau

Comprehensive win for the Barça basketball team in the Palau as they overwhelmed Betis by 83-63 to put behind them the midweek defeat against Zalgiris in Lithuania. Brandon Davies was the star of the show with 21 points in an MVP display. 

Barça set the tone right at the start of the game when Nico Laprovittola scored a three pointer to get the blaugranes on the scoreboard. At the end of the first quarter Saras' team led 21-17 with Sanli, Exum and Abrines all at the top of their games also. 

Visitors Betis made a game of it before half time as they kept Barça close at 37-31 at the break. However, in the second half the home side's defence turned on the style, holding the visitors to just three points in the opening seven minutes. That formed the basis of a great third quarter and Barça went into the final period 60-39 up. 

The blaugranes maintained their lead in the final quarter with Jokubatis and Davies producing some moments of magic to take a 83-63 win at the Palau.
