Defeat for Barça in Kaunas against Zalgiris with the blaugranes going down 91-84 in Lithuania despite having been ahead for the majority of the game.
Sara Jasikevicius' team got off to a good start in a game that saw the coach take on the team where he featured as both a player and coach. Barça ended the first quarter 17-9 ahead thanks to no less than five three pointers.
Nevertheless, Zalgiris came back at Barça in the second quarter, initially outscoring Saras' team by 10-2 at the beginning of the period. At half time the score was tied at 35-35.
In the second half Mirotic and Laprovittola came to the fore and helped Barça re-establish their lead at 63-35 come the end of the third quarter.
However, the fourth quarter saw the story move in a different direction. Lekavicius lifted Zalgiris as the home side went 15-4 early in the final period to take the lead at 81-72. Mirotic attempted to lead a fightback but despite ending with 26 points he was unable to avoid a Barça defeat at 91-84 in Kaunas.
