9 games... and 9 wins! Barça's basketball team remain unbeaten after the win against Monbus Obradoiro on game day 9 of the Liga ACB. They keep top spot in the league thanks to being in control of virtually the entire game in Fontes do Sar. Mirotic, Davies and Laprovittola were there at the key times to ensure a comfortable win.
Barça show their strength
Barça were straight out of the blocks going 4-11 up by the 4th minute after three consecutive three-pointers by Sanli, Mirotic and Laprovittola. They kept up the pace, being both superb in attack and solid in defence, going 15 points up by the 23rd minute.
The Galician team didn't give up, though, clawing back the deficit, with a buzzer-beater three-pointer by Scrubb to bring Obradoiro back into the game at the break, with the score 36-39.
Barça came out on fire for the second half, with a 13-26 third quarter that basically decided the game. Comfortable in defence, the attack was allowed to flourish with five consecutive points from Hayes-Davis opening up a lead of 49-67 in the 31st minute.
