After a tight first half, Barça go rampant after the break to defeat their fellow Catalans in the Liga Endesa
Barça have beaten Baxi Manresa (97-89) in a high scoring game that was anyone’s for the taking until the third period, which is when Saras Jasikevicius’s side moved into a two-figure lead. Davies led the scoring with 21 points.
The first meaningful lead came after a 6-0 streak for Barça, but the sides were level again by the end of the first, and Manresa then started building up a lead of their own. Barça made sure things didn’t get out of hand and it was a two-point game at the break.
Then came the third when the deadlock was well and truly broke. The blaugrana stormed into a 16 point lead, and although Manresa battled fervently to get back into the game, they never managed to reduce the gap to anything less than 10 points. Another win in the domestic championship for a team that just gets better and better!
