Barça beat Tenerife 80-66, winning once more on the road

Barça cruise past Tenerife 80-66

FC Barcelona continued their dominance away from home on Sunday, beating Tenerife 80-66 for their fifth road win of the season — three in the league and two in the Euroleague — in a game that was practically in the bag before halftime. Big men Maciej Lampe and Ante Tomic led the way while all twelve players took part in the scoring. It was a total team effort and helps Barça put last week's loss to Joventut firmly behind them.

Tenerife had to do without their star and league-leading scorer Blagota Sekulic, who was ruled out just before tip-off. And while the opening minutes were fairly even, Barça led by 22-18 at the end of the first quarter and then totally ran away with it in the second behind stellar defence. They led 44-28 at the half.

The third quarter saw Barça run their lead to 20 points before they put it in cruise control and maintained a safe enough lead behind the steady play of Lampe and Tomic.
