The Catalan midfielder did specific training to help the injury this morning
The Club’s medical services have revealed that Xavi Hernández has a thigh strain in his left leg and over the last few training sessions has been given specific work to help his recovery, which will determine his availability for Saturday’s game against Granada.
Tuesday’s session also saw Cesc Fàbregas back in full training, whilst Jordi Alba and Gerard Piqué continued to work apart. Lucas, Denis, Agostinho Ca, Calvet and Sandro, from Barça B and Adama from the Youth A team also took part.
The squad will be back in training on Wednesday afternoon, when it is expected that the majority of the international players will be back under Martino’s orders. The game against Granada will kick off at four on Saturday afternoon.
