Marc Muniesa set for surgery on Tuesday

The player will undergo surgery on Tuesday to correct the torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee

After the operation, doctors Ramon Cugat and Ricard Pruna will hold a press conference at the Ricard Maxenchs Press Room (16.00)

On Tuesday morning the player Marc Muniesa will undergo surgery to correct the torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. Doctors Ramon Cugat and Ricard Pruna will perform the operation. After the surgery, at approximately 16.00, the two doctors will hold a press conference at the Ricard Maxenchs Press Room.

The Azulgrana defender will have corrective surgery a week after he was injured in the team’s pre-season match against Hamburg SV. Muniesa is expected to be out of action for six months.
