The Barcelona squad are wearing a new Nike outfit on this trip to Madrid. They're wearing a sweatshirt carrying the letters FC Barcelona, a shirt with the slogan "More than a Club", and comfortable trousers with an elastic waistband. It's a very comfortable and attractive outfit for this very special occasion.
The Barça first team flew this morning to Madrid, where on Wednesday they'll take on Atletico in the return leg of their Champions League quarter final. The plane took off at 11 a.m. from El Prat airport and landed in Madrid one hour later.
Heading up the Barça expedition is the President Josep Maria Bartomeu, accompanied by Vice Presidents Javier Faus, Carles Vilarrubí, Jordi Mestre and Manel Arroyo, Directors Susana Monje, Toni Freixa, Jordi Moix, Jordi Monés, Pilar Guinovart, Javier Bordas, Silvio Elías and Dídac Lee, and Sporting Director Andoni Zubizarreta.
It's worth remembering that Gerardo Martino has called up 21 players. Once in Madrid, Barça went straight to their hotel. They'll train this afternoon at the Vicente Calderón at 6.30 p.m.
Around 2,600 Barça fans will be in Madrid to support the team tomorrow.
