32 games scoring away from home

The team matches the record set previously in 2013

With the two goals from Semedo and Leo Messi against Girona in Montilivi in the 2-0 win, the team has equalled yet another Club record: 32 consecutive away games scoring in the league.

The run began back in week 33 of the 2016/17 season thanks to a 3-2 win in the Santiago Bernabéu of all places. Since then, Barça have scored in every single away game: the last three away games of 16/17, every road games in 2017/18 and every away trip so far this season.

In that time the blaugranes have recorded 22 wins, 8 draws and just two defeats, scoring 58 goals and conceding 21.

The run encompasses memorable moments such as the 3-0 win on Barça’s first ever visit to Montilivi and the 1-1 draw on their inaugural trip to the Wanda Metropolitano, Atlético Madrid’s new home.

 Previous record

The run equals a record set between 11 February 2012 and 28 September 2013 under Josep Guardiola, Tito Vilanova and Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino of 32 away games scoring in a row. On that occasion the run comprised of 25 wins, 4 draws and 3 defeats with 87 goals scored and 35 against.
