Dani Alves called up for Brazil

The FC Barcelona defender is included in the squad by coach Tite for third time in a row since his return to the blaugranes

Dani Alves has once again been called up for international duty. The Barça defender has been included in the squad by Brazilian national team coach Tite for the team's upcoming friendlies next month. It is the third time that Alves has been in the Brazil squad since his return to FC Barcelona.

Alves will be with the squad as they travel to Asia for game against South Korea in Seoul on 2 June and against Japan in Tokyo on 6 June. 

The Barça defender was involved in Brazil's most recent two qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar in which they secured their place in the finals to be played this winter. 

The friendlies in June are part of the preparations for the tournament which sees Brazil placed in Group G alongside Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon.
