Three titles to play for

The international break is over and from now until May it’s full steam ahead for club football, with the treble still very much on the cards at FC Barcelona.

They’re ten points clear at the top of the Liga table and through to the Copa del Rey final against Valencia, but there is still a lot of work to be done in the Champions League, where Manchester United await in the quarter finals.

La Liga

There are ten games to go in La Liga and as things stand, FC Barcelona are very comfortably poised indeed. Barça are ten points clear of Atlético Madrid and 12 ahead of Real Madrid going into Saturday’s derby at home to Espanyol (4.15pm CET).

Here’s a reminder of what’s left to come in the domestic championship:

Copa del Rey Final

On May 25 at the Benito Villamarin in Seville, Barça will be looking to become the first team to ever win the Spanish Cup five times in a row, what would be the club’s 31st title in total.

It should be a cracking final. Both games between Barça and Valencia this season in the league ended in draws (1-1 at Mestalla and 2-2 at Camp Nou).

Champions League quarter finals

Barça and Manchester United, who have twice met in the grand final this century, meet again in the last eight of the senior European club competition. The first leg is on April 10 at Old Trafford (9.00pm CET) and the return at Camp Nou is a week later, on April 16 at the same time.
