‘Run with Barça’ runners participate in the Cursa de la Mercè

251 ‘Run with Barça’ runners raced alongside other contestants in the 34th edition of the Cursa de la Mercè this Sunday. David Francome finished first among the Barça runners – he also won the first race of the season, in Poblenou – and he finished 12th overall with a time of 33:34.

Roger Roca and Carla Bertos

Close 16,000 runners participated in this edition of the Cursa de la Mercè, and the fastest male runner was Roger Roca (30:41). The fastest female runner was the 16-year-old Carla Bertos (38:32). The race also commemorated the 20-year anniversary of the Barcelona Olympic Games.
