FC Barcelona is back to its winning ways in the OK Liga after losing to Igualada last week, the only loss of the season. Gaby Cairo’s men thrashed Roncato Pati Vic, which is there ninth consecutive victory at the Palau, were they are unbeaten.
Barça came out en force at the start of the match. In the opening minutes, both teams had chances to score, but Barça was dominating and enjoyed the better opportunities. As time went on the home team gained more ground until Sergi Panadero broke the deadlock on seven minutes. The Barça player paired up with Gual to open up the scoring.
The first half went on with Barça applying much more pressure on the visiting side. the second goal came on 14 minutes thanks to Panadero. A minute later Mia Ordeig scored the third on his former team after a good passing play with Marc Gual. But the Azulgranas were not done, the captain, Borregán, scored the fourth on 16 minutes. Three goals in three minutes, the result was 4-0. Sergi Fernández was the key player in the final minute of the first half. The FC Barcelona keeper did a fantastic job of denying a penalty and a free hit in the final seconds of the half.

Most of the second half didn’t gift the crowd with goals, but there were plenty of goal scoring chances nonetheless. Barça kept on dominating the game, but their dominance wasn’t rewarded. Torra hit the post twice, in fact. But the goals would come in the final 10 minutes of play. The first was scored thanks to Reinaldo García, who scored from a free hit on 42 minutes. Pablo Álvarez made it six on 46 minutes and Borregán finished the scoring off in the last minute.
This victory keeps Gaby Cairo’s team at the top of the OK Liga’s table with 46 points. The next game is against Enrile P.A.S Alcoy.
