FC Barcelona won their first game in the European League after defeating HC Dinan Quevert (2-5). The French team, who surprisingly won their match away to Candelaria, were unable to stop the Blaugrana onslaught. Marc Gual, who scored two goals, netted the opener and Miras doubled Barça’s lead after 25 minutes. The home side scored their first thanks to a strike from Burgoa, but Marc Julià and Marc Torra fired to send Barça three clear. In the dying minutes of the match, Tomás scored the last goal of the game to make it 2-5.
