Finques Prats 6-5 Barça: Away day defeat
A loss on the road as Finques Prats Lleida have defeated Barça 6-5 at the Pavelló Onze de Setembre. Bargalló and Marc Grau both got braces, but the home side showed their steel to win, featuring a Nuno Paiva hat-trick.
João strikes early and lead extended quickly
Barça took the lead after Barroso and João Rodrigues combined (0-1) with just 16 seconds on the clock after the former recovered a Bargalló pass for the latter before assisting. The blaugrana push continued and Marc Grau scored the second, the Catalan making the most of a great Pau Bargalló assist (0-2).
Three minutes later the Barça captain was able to celebrate scoring a goal himself, Bargalló firing in a superb direct free hit, after a blue card for Sergi Falguera, and it looked like an away win was already on the cards (0-3).
Home side respond
With only five minutes gone and the blaugranes very much in the ascendancy, Llista Blava showed why they are a tough proposition at home. Xavier Aragonès got the fans going with a great shot past Carles Grau (1-3). Lleida's second came almost straight away, Nuno Paiva surprising the Barça defence to make it 2-3.
Lista Azul continued to push to tie the score, Ojeda and Jordi Badia only being thwarted by an immense Carles Grau. The next goal almost came via João Rodrigues, but keeper Martí Zapater saved his penalty (min. 24). Half-time score 2-3.
Bargalló finishes the fourth but home side respond
A great recovery by Marc Grau from Nicolás Ojeda saw the Catalan assist Pau Bargalló to restore a two-goal lead (2-4). Lleida responded though, and nine minutes later, a direct free hit saw Ojeda score past Carles Grau (3-4).
Finques Prats complete comeback
Xavier Aragonès scored a long range effort to tie the game with 15 minutes left (4-4) and then the decibels went up further 10 minutes later as Nuno Paiva grabbed his second to take Lleida into the lead (5-4).
The blaugranes then came back themselves as Marc Grau read the game well to score just 24 seconds later (5-5). Unfortunately there was still time for another twist in the tale, with Nuno Paiva completing his hat-trick in the final minute to seal the win (6-5).
