FC Barcelona’s next match is this Saturday at the Palau Blaugrana. Seeing that it also happens to be the same day as Barça takes on Real Madrid at the Camp Nou, the match against Blanes has been rescheduled for 17:30. It’s worth mentioning that Club members can attend the match for free.
On October 21st, Gaby Cairo made his debut as FC Barcelona’s manager. It was against Areneu Agrícola Sant Sadurní, on the same court the now manager made his debut as a player. It was the start of an almost flawless run; Cairo has only lost two matches in six months.
11 consecutive victories
Cairo has led his team to an almost perfect season. So far, Barça have failed to win on only two occasions - once in the OK Liga against Igualada (4-2) an the other, this past weekend in Portugal against Candelaria (3-2) The Azulgranas have only drawn three times in six months: Candelaria (2-2), Viareggio (3-3) and Vilanova (2-2).
Furthermore, Borregán, Egurrola, Ordeig and company have managed to string together an 11-match winning streak. For three consecutive months, from the draw at the Palau against Candelaria (2-2) this past December to the defeat at Les Comes against Igualada (4-2) on March 11th, Barça won all of its matches.
