FC Barcelona Intersport clinched the Liga Asobal title this weekend at the Palau Blaugrana after beating BM Torrevieja by 38-28. This was the first time in 16 years that the team secured the Liga crown in front of their home crowd. Moreover, Xavi Pascual is now the seventh manager in Spanish handball history to lead his team to back-to-back Liga Asobal titles.
