Marc Carmona and Javi Rodríguez, accompanied by Club President Sandro Rosell, brought the European Cup to the FC Barcelona Museum this morning
The event, which was a short yet emotional, was an acknowledgement to FC Barcelona Alusport’s historic feat of conquering the team’s first European crown
The UEFA Futsal Cup, which was won this weekend in Lleida in an exciting match against Dynamo Moscow, made its way to the FC Barcelona Museum today. FC Barcelona Alusport, up until this Sunday, was the only FC Barcelona team that had not won a European crown.

The event started at 11:15 in the morning and Sandro Rosell, FC Barcelona President, was in attendance. Marc Carmona and Javi Rodríguez, who was in charge of placing the cup in the Museum’s trophy cabinet, were cheered on by a small contingent of Dragones, a supporters club that was key to Barça’s European success this weekend. During the event, President Rosell told the Dragones that “you scored one of the three goals [that the team scored] in the final.”
