The two FC Barcelona defenders will train with the group under medical supervision, while the striker will participate in only a portion of the training session with his teammates

David Villa, Andreu Fontàs and Dani Alves will join their teammates in FC Barcelona’s first training session of the season on Tuesday. The Asturian striker, however, will only participate in a portion of the session, while the two defenders will be under medical supervision. Isaac Cuenca will train in the gym.
Here are the communiqués from the Club’s medical services on each of the four players ahead of FC Barcelona’s training regiment:
Villa:
The player is progressing in his recovery and he will participate in part of tomorrow’s training session with the group. His recovery will mark his availability.
Fontàs:
The player is in the last stage of recovery from the surgery performed on his right knee. He is expected to work with the group tomorrow under medical supervision. His recovery will mark his availability.
Dani Alves:
The player is in the last stage of recovery from the surgery performed on his right shoulder. He is expected to work with the group tomorrow under medical supervision. His recovery will mark his availability.
Cuenca:
The player is in the recovery process from the injury to his right-knee meniscus. He is expected to follow the recovery guidelines and he’ll start training in the gym.
