The midfielder is excited about Barça's newest left back, who still has to sign his contract and pass a medical exam: "he’s always been a Culé and he’s a home-grown footballer, he already knows how we play”
Thiago Alcántara is pleased that FC Barcelona signed Jordi Alba, who still needs to pass a medical exam and pen his first contract with the Club. “I like the signing. He’s always been a Culé and he’s a home-grown footballer, he already knows how we play,” said the midfielder, who noted that he got to know the left back during his time with the Spanish national team. “He’s fast and very good,” he added.
“If we maintain our philosophy, we’ll continue winning”
Thiago, who stopped by the Nike campus in Andorra this Monday, offered his take on the Club’s current events. “We all want him to do a good job and lead us to good results,” he said on Barça’s newly appointed manager, Tito Vilanova. “If we maintain our philosophy and if we have confidence in him, we’ll continue winning.”
Remaining challenges
The midfielder, who answered questions posed by the children participating in the Nike campus, said that he has a few personal objectives for the upcoming season: “my goal for the season is to play in more games than last year, enjoy playing with my teammates and to win titles.”
