The Azulgranas landed in Tangier a little before 13.00, and were greeted by 300 Barça supporters
FC Barcelona have arrived in Morocco. The team’s plane took off at 11.20 and hours later landed in Tangier, where Tito Vilanova’s men will play their second pre-season match of the summer, against Raja Club Athletic. The Barça expedition was led by vice presidents Josep Maria Bartomeu and Jordi Cardoner and the directors Susana Monje and Jordi Moix. The director of football, Andoni Zubizarreta, also travelled with the team.
300 supporters greet the team at the airport
The players were in transit for approximately two hours and touched down on Moroccan soil at 13.00, where they were received by nearly 300 Barça supporters. Upon arrival, the team went straight to the Hotel & Resort Mövenpick Tangier, where they will stay until match time (10.00 local time). The team will spend the night in Tangier and return to Barcelona on Sunday.
