Cristian Tello has extended his contract with FC Barcelona until 2016
FC Barcelona has reached an agreement with Cristian Tello to extend his current deal with the Club until 30th June 2016. The release clause has been fixed at 10 million Euros. The two sides will officially seal the deal on Monday 17th December at the Club’s offices in the Camp Nou.
A product of the youth system
Tello made his way through the youth ranks of FC Barcelona from 2002 to 2007 and also enjoyed a spell with Damm and two seasons with Espanyol. He returned to the Barça reserves in the summer of 2010 and has gradually carved out a place for himself in the senior squad since then.
He made his first team debut against Hospitalet in the Cup on 8th November 2011, scoring two goals. His league debut came a few weeks after that away to Villarreal on 28th January 2012 and just a week later he got his first league goal against Real Sociedad.
