Players return to training after four-day break

After a four-day break, the first team returned to training this Tuesday morning in preparation for this weekend’s match against Deportivo. Tito Vilanova is still without his internationals, and only Jonathan dos Santos trotted out on to the pitch of the Ciutat Esportiva to train with Barça B. José Manuel Pinto trained in the gym, just as he did last week, along with Éric Abidal (who finished his training regiment in Vall d’Aran). In addition, Thiago, Puyol, Piqué, Alves and Cuenca were also present.

It’s worth noting that Andreu Fontàs was not with the team this morning seeing that agreed to a loan deal with Mallorca through June 30.

Waiting for the internationals

The international players are scheduled to return to Barcelona on Wednesday and Thursday. Which means that Vilanova will have at least two days to prepare for Saturday’s match at the Riazor with all the first team players at his disposal.
