According to the Barça front man: “over the last five years I think I have improved tactically and as a goalscorer”
Optimism for Madrid game
Looking forward to next Wednesday’s Cup semi-final against Real Madrid, Pedro explained: “we know we have the home leg to come. We’ll be going to Madrid full of optimism and determined to play well and get a win. It’s true that they’ll be missing players, but they will still be Real Madrid”.
Pedro Rodríguez is just one game short of his 200th appearance for Barça and, as he told Barça TV on Sunday night: “time passes so quickly and I’m very happy about how things have gone. I’d love it if I could play my 200th game at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday - and that the team get a good result too!”.
Pedro also spoke about his own form this season: “I’m feeling comfortable on the pitch and scoring is important because it gives me more confidence”. As regards the Osasuna game, he also explained: “it was an important match and we got another good win. I think we could even have got more goals”.
Messi, a unique talent
Pedro and Messi got the goals against Osasuna, with the Argentinean bagging four and Pedro is as impressed as anyone by Messi’s goal scoring feats: “his numbers are something that only he could achieve. It’s a real pleasure to be able to watch him play every week”. Reflecting on his own form, Pedro reckons: “over the last five years I think I have improved tactically and as a goalscorer”.
