Four goalkeepers in first session of the day

There was only a morning session on Thursday, but on Friday Barça were back to training twice. At 9.00, the first team were on pitch number 2 at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, joined this time by Barça B goalkeepers Miguel Bañuz and Jordi Masip.

22 players in total

That meant there were 22 players in all. All 12 available first teamers were there, plus 10 from Eusebio Sacristán’s reserve team, the eight that have been training all week (Oier, Sergi Gómez, Planas, Sergi Roberto, Ilie, Rafinha, Kiko Femenía and Lobato), plus Bañuz and Masip. That meant the unusual circumstance of four goalkeepers in total: Pinto, Oier, Bañuz and Masip.

As on previous days, Villa, Fontàs and Alves joined the group, but under the watchful eyes of fitness coaches. Meanwhile, Thiago and Cuenca continued with their specific programmes as they recover from injury. At 19.00, the players will be back training at the same venue.
