The Barça full back is fully recovered from a shoulder injury that has seen him sidelined since May 16
Dani Alves was declared fully fit on Friday after his battle to recover from an injury to his right shoulder finally came to an end. He sustained the injury in training on May 16 and it meant he missed the Copa del Rey Final against Athletic Bilbao. It was estimated at the time that he’d need 6 to 8 weeks to recover.
Under medical control
With first team training officially starting last Tuesday, it was reported on Monday that the Brazilian was in the final stages of his recovery programme. Though still being closely watched by doctors, Alves has been exercising with his team mates all week.
After a few days of observation, the Club Medical Services decided to declare him fully fit today. The full back will therefore be available for selection by Tito Vilanova for all of the preseason friendlies.
