Jordi Alba was up early on Thursday. He had a whole series of medical and fitness tests to get through before he could sign his contract and be officially presented as a new member of the FC Barcelona squad.
He was at Barcelona Hospital before 9.00 for resonance, X-rays and blood and urine tests. He then moved on to the Centre Mèdic de la Ciutat Esportiva, where he had a number of strength and resistance tests to take, as well as being measured and weighed, as well as undergoing densitometry, cardiology and muscular echography.
Jordi Alba will sign his contract as a new FCB player at 16.00, and will be presented at the Camp Nou at around 17.00.
