Ibrahim Afellay has been named to the preliminary list of 36 footballers by the Dutch Football Federation for the 2012 EURO in Ukraine and Poland. The list of 36 footballers will be cut down to 23 by Dutch manager Vert van Marwijk. The manager’s decision will be made public on May 29.

Afellay returned to competitive football against Rayo Vallecano eight days ago after a knee injury kept him on the sidelines for seven months. The Azulgrana also featured against Málaga at the Camp Nou.
