The Brazilian will don the Blaugrana strip for four additional seasons
When asked about FC Barcelona’s newest player, Neymar da Silva, Adriano said, “it’s great news. Finally! He’s a great footballer.”
Adriano Correia inked his new contract with FC Barcelona this Tuesday afternoon. The player will remain at the Club through 2017 and his buyout clause has been set at 90 million euros.
President Sandro Rosell, vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu, director of football Andoni Zubizarreta, and the player’s representative were also present at the signing ceremony.
“A very happy day”
After the player signed his contract he told Barça TV: “it’s a very happy day because the president, the vice-president, the Board, the managers and the team are confident in me. Signing on for four more seasons is another dream come true.”
“I’m committed to finishing my contract and to continue doing what I’ve done up until today,” concluded Adriano.
