22 in squad for Hamburg trip

Tito Vilanova announced the first squad of the pre-season this evening and he’ll be taking all 10 available first team squad members to Germany - Pinto, Alves, Bartra, Muniesa, Dos Santos, Alexis, Messi, Mascherano, Afellay and Adriano- as well as 12 from the B team -Oier, Ilie, Sergi Roberto, Deulofeu, Rafinha, Joan Àngel Román, Sergi Gómez, Lobato, Patric, Planas, Balliu and Espinosa- for the game in the Imtech Arena against Hamburg.

The squad will fly out early on Tuesday morning and at 12.30, Tito Villanova will hold a press conference together with Alexis and Adriano at the Intercontinental Hotel in Hamburg.

Femenía misses evening session

Kiko Feminia was the only player who trained this morning to miss the afternoon session, as he did physio work to help him recover from the muscle strain he suffered.

Puyol, who had his first training session this morning following his knee operation in May, again trained separately this evening.
