Squad list for Spanish Cup

Pinto, Oier, Alves, Piqué, Puyol, Xavi, Villa, Alexis, Messi, Thiago, Dos Santos, Mascherano, Bartra, Sergio, Pedro, Jordi Alba, Montoya, Song and Tello

19 players will be flying to Cordoba this Wednesday, 17 fit members of the first team (all but Valdés, Adriano and Iniesta) plus Oier and Tello of Barça B. That means a place for Carles Puyol despite him being taken off on Sunday and working in isolation in the gym on Monday. Today, the captain was able to train normally with the squad.

Five possible debutants

The list includes five players that have yet to feature in the Copa del Rey this season, namely Piqué, Xavi, Messi, Pedro and Jordi Alba. The only unused first team member that misses out once again is goalkeeper Victor Valdés, who is traditionally replaced by Pinto for cup games.
