Barça will travel to Málaga this Thursday to play for a spot in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey. The biggest piece of news is that David Villa, who was given the medical green light to play earlier this week, was named to the team’s 19-man squad. Jonathan dos Santos, Montoya, Bartra and Isaac Cuenca won’t travel to Andalusia.
Final session before tomorrow’s trip
This Wednesday morning’s training session was the last one before tomorrow’s match at La Rosaldea. The session, which was led by Jordi Roura, was attended by Gerard Piqué, who became a father for the first time on Tuesday evening. The player was congratulated by his teammates before the session began. Carles Puyol was also congratulated by his teammates. The Barça captain extended his contract with the Club through the 2015/16 season.
