Marta Corredera, Olga Garcia and Sonia Bermúdez were FC Barcelona's goal scorers

The FC Barcelona Women’s team claimed its first three points of the season after beating Club Deportivo Olivenza. The women managed by Xavi Llorens fired three goals past their opponents in a match marked by rain and missed chances. The 90 minutes were dominated by the Azulgranas. After losing to Espanyol and Rayo, this victory is a morale boost for the Barça players ahead of their Women’s Champions League debut against Arsenal.

Complete dominance

The Azulgranas took control of the match from the first minute and they quickly started knocking on Oluvenza’s goal. In the first half, Barça could have gone to the break with a big advantage, but the players were’t lucky in front of goal. The second half was similar to the first: one-touch passing, Azulgrana dominance and possession football. The goal finally came thanks to Marta Corredera. Olga and Sonia Bermúdez also got on the scoresheet to make it 0-3.
