FC Barcelona’s Xavi Hernández and Real Madrid’s Iker Casillas (joint candidacy) and the International Paralympic Committee are finalists for the 2012 Prince of Asturias Sports Award.
The jury selected the players’ joint candidacy over the Spanish national team, who won the Euro championship this summer.
The jury, chaired by Arantxa Sánchez Vicario, who won the award in 2008, will announce the winner of this edition of the Prince of Asturias Sports Award this Wednesday at the Reconquista de Oviedo hotel.
