This Saturday, the first team, the reserve team and Barça Alusport will all play another round of matches at the Camp Nou, at the Miniestadi and at the Palau Blaugrana, respectively
A triple dose of excitement and emotion awaits Barça fans at FC Barcelona’s facilities this Saturday. The whirlwind of matches will start at 16.15 when Barça Alusport take on Caja Segovia, and will end when the referee signals the end of the Catalan derby between Barça and Espanyol, which kicks off at 21:00 at the Camp Nou. Sandwiched in between these two games, at 18:00, Barça B will play at the Miniestadi against Elche. Saturday promises to be 100% Azulgrana as the Club’s teams take on their counterparts in three different venues.
Last LNFS game at the Palau
Saturday will start off with Barça Alusport taking on Segovia (16:15). This will be the first match at the Palau after Marc Carmona’s men won the UEFA Futsal Cup. It’s also the last Liga match of the season at the Palau. The Azulgranas, thanks to the help of the supporters, need to win the match, which would be their 13th home win, in order to cut in to ElPozo Murcia’s lead at the top of the table.
The eighth place in the league, up for grabs at the Mini
The next match will be Barça B against Elche at 18:00 at the Miniestadi. The Alicante side have won 50 points so far this season, the same amount as Barça B. The team led by Eusebio Sacristán need the support from the fans to win their fifth consecutive match at home and, therefore, take the three points that would secure the eighth spot in the table. Elche beat Barça B in the first half of the season by 3 to 0.
Catalan derby at the Camp Nou
The Barça-Espanyol match is the proverbial cherry on the top of what already will be an intense day for FC Barcelona. The match will start at 21:00. This is the penultimate match of the Liga for Barça this season, and the last match at the Camp Nou. Meaning that this will be Pep Guardiola’s last match on the bench at the Camp Nou.
