The Indian Bollywood star was among the crowd at the Camp Nou for Sunday’s 2-2 draw between Barça and Real Madrid
Ranbir Kapoor, an Honorary Fan of FC Barcelona and one of the biggest Bollywood stars, was among the thousands of FCB supporters in the stadium last Sunday. Despite his packed schedule, which includes a visit to a film festival in Korea, the actor flew to Catalonia to enjoy the clásico between Barça and their biggest rivals, Real Madrid. He took a seat in the presidential box at the Camp Nou, where he was personally greeted by Sandro Rosell, from whom he received a Barça shirt with his name on the back.
Kapoor, who has millions of Facebook fans, is well known for his support for Barça. “It’s the best club in the world”, said the Bollywood superstar on what is by no means his first visit to the Catalan capital. In fact, he was here last season and met the first team at the Ciutat Esportiva, and was especially pleased to get the chance to speak to Leo Messi, the man he regards as “the greatest player on earth”.
