The FC Barcelona first team players join the new campaign to fill the Camp Nou for home matches
The campaign - which kicks off ahead of the match against Celta - depicts what it's like to experience a match at the Camp Nou
FC Barcelona unveiled the new campaign “Camp Nou: 90-minute Blaugrana explosion,” an initiative aimed at encouraging Club members and Barça fans to attend the Camp Nou.
The initiate follows the path laid by other Club campaigns like ‘Ens hi deixem la pell’ and ‘Viva el Barça. Viva el espectáculo.’ For the fifth year in a row, FC Barcleona are kicking off a ticketing campaign that looks to increase attendance at the stadium. To achieve its goal, the campaign puts special emphasis on the Camp Nou as location that offers a unique and unforgettable experience, a place where the players and the fans give it their all to be part of the biggest Blaugrana spectacle in the world.
Under the slogan of “Camp Nou: 90-minute Blaugrana explosion” and using high impact visuals depicting the first team players amidst the exploding colours of the Club, the campaign conveys its message in a vivid and direct way: what it means to experience a Barça match from the stands at the Camp Nou.
The players take centre stage
Cesc Fàbregas and Andrés Iniesta were the players selected to participate in the promotion of the next match at the Camp Nou, against Celta. Besides these two players, the campaign “Camp Nou: 90-minute Blaugrana explosion” will also show other players like Carles Puyol, Leo Messi, David Villa, Xavi Hernández, Víctor Valdés, Pedro Rodríguez, Javier Mascherano and Alexis Sánchez encouraging fans to attend the stadium.
The marketing firm Caldas Naya has been tasked to develop this year’s campaign. The campaign will be viewable on Barça TV, radio, sports publications, online platforms, social media, and the marketing spaces on the outside of the Camp Nou.
The ‘ticket packs,’ the most comfortable and economic option to watch games at the Camp Nou
The campaign’s immediate goal is to encourage fans to attend the Camp Nou in the months of November and December, coinciding with the matches against Celta, Zaragoza, Athletic Club, Benfica and Atlético Madrid. It’s worth noting that fans that want to watch more than one game at the Camp Nou can take advantage of the 2012/13 Liga ticket packs (where 3, 6, 9, and 12 tickets are sold at once). With this product, members can enjoy up to a 55% discount on each ticket. It is not necessary to select the games you want to watch at the moment of purchase, meaning members have the flexibility and freedom to select the Liga games they want to see at the Camp Nou after the packs have been bought.
