Fans are enjoying the many pre-match activities - face-paint booths, puppeteers, a giant mural where the children can draw and paint their favourite Barça stars, all of last year's 17 trophies on display, water football - ahead of tonight's match against Sampdoria
The activities will come to a close at 20.00, moments before the 37th edition of the Joan Gamper Trophy is scheduled to start
Barça fans have started to arrive to the Camp Nou in droves to participate in the many activities set up by the Club ahead of tonight’s match between FC Barcelona and Sampdoria.
Trophies, murals and booths
The Azulgrana supporters have the chance to pose with the titles that FC Barcelona won last year. The Copa del Rey, Club World Cup, Spanish Super Cup, European Super Cup, Liga Endesa (basketball), LNFS (futsal), UEFA Futsal Cup are but a few of last season's 17 titles that are on public display at the Club's ice rink.
At Barça Museum there’s an extensive Barça Toons mural, where children can draw and paint their idols. David Villa, Carles Puyol, Leo Messi ... they all start to take shape thanks to the imagination of the youngsters.
At the main entrance there are three tents with face paint stations and booths where the young and old alike spruce up their Azulgrana look before the doors of the Camp Nou are opened.
“Refreshing football”
To combat the heat, just outside the Camp Nou there’s an inflatable pool where children are encouraged to play water football. The installation is titled “Refreshing football,” and it’s the perfect way to cool off before tonight’s match.
