The Catalan centre back chatted with fans from around the world in FC Barcelona's first Google+ Hangout
This Wednesday afternoon Gerard Piqué became the first FC Barcelona player to host a Google+ Hangout with Barça fans from around the world.
Culés from Madrid, the United States, China and Barcelona chatted in Catalan, English and Spanish with the FC Barcelona defender via Google’s videoconferencing system for 30 minutes. The session was broadcast live on www.fcbarcelona.com.
Barça, closer than ever
FC Barcelona recently presented its ‘Camp Nou Live’ initiative, a new way to bring Barça even closer to its millions of fans worldwide. The fans that left the best questions tagged with #CampNouLive on Barça’s Google+ profile were selected to participate in today’s session with Gerard Piqué. The Club has over 2.3 million fans on Google+.
