FC Barcelona WorldTap, the new iPhone application launched by FC Barcelona, is a game where the user must not allow the football to touch the ground and keep it in the air as long as possible by ‘taping’ the ball.
The new game, which is available on iTunes, allows users to participate in monthly tournaments and to compete against players from all around the world. Tournament winners stand to take home an autographed team jersey, a personalized team jersey or an official FC Barcelona ball. Furthermore, all players will be ranked online in realtime.
This App takes the user to a digital recreation of the Camp Nou, the stadium fills up as the player progresses through the game, the weather also changes to reflect the city’s real climate.
The game, priced at €1.59, is available in Catalan, Spanish, English, Arabic, Portuguese, Chinese and Japanese.
