Digital hangout with Gerard Piqué

Gerard Piqué will be the first FC Barcelona player to host a Google+ Hangout – the videoconferencing system on the North American company’s social network – with Barça fans from around the world on October 24 at 17.30 (Catalan time). The Hangout will also be broadcast live on the Club’s webpage: www.fcbarcelona.com

In line with the Club’s commitment to create and provide digital content for its fans, FC Barcelona presents ‘Camp Nou Live,’ a new way to bring the Club even closer to millions of Culés from around the world.

In order to participate in the Hangout, where up to 10 individuals can simultaneously interact in the videoconference,  you must be a fan of Barça’s page on the social network Goole+ and you must direct a question to the player by using the #CampNouLive hashtag.

The Hangout will be held in three languages: Catalan, Spanish and English and the player will chat with the fans that send in the best questions. The conversation, which will be approximately 30 minutes long, will be broadcast live on the Club’s website, www.fcbarcelona.com and on Barça’s Google+ page.

How to participate?

First, in order to be one of the participants in the Hangout with Piqué, you must be fan of FC Barcelona’s Google + page. Second, you must leave your question for the player on the post tagged with the hashtag #CampNouLive.

With this Hangout, FC Barcelona wants to increase participation with its fans from around the world who follow the team on a daily basis on the Club’s official social network profiles and on the Club’s web platform.
