Kosta Perovic will no longer be a Barça Regal player after two seasons as an Azulgrana. FC Barcelona decided to not renew the Serbian’s contract for the upcoming season. Perovic arrived to Barça Regal in the summer of 2010 after playing for Valencia Basket for two seasons.
Perovic played a total of 110 matches in his two years as a Barça Regal player. Most of them were in the Liga (63), followed by the Euroleague (37), Copa del Rey (4), ACB Super Cup (2) and Liga Catalana (4). Perovic averaged 4.83 points and 2.44 rebound per game in the Liga and 5 points and 3.13 rebounds in the Euroleague.
Seven titles as an Azulgrana
The player leaves Barça after winning seven titles with Xavi Pascual’s team. The first title he won was the Liga Catalana in the 2010/11 season and, a couple of days later, the ACB Super Cup, followed by the Copa del Rey and the ACB League. The following season, 2011/12, he reclaimed three of the four titles he won the previous year: the Liga Catalana, the ACB Super Cup and the Liga Endesa.
The Club wishes Kosta Perovic the best in his personal and professional endeavours.
