Zaragoza is the venue this Saturday for the start of the 2012/13 season. Pete Mickeal is optimistic about Barça Regal’s chances in the Supercup, saying “we played better in Bulgaria. We still have work and training to do, but bit by bit, we’re getting better … We are ready for the Supercup. We’re only thinking about this title and there are some good feelings.” The ever-ambitious Mickeal has already won the trophy four times, three in a row with Barça Regal and once with TAU Vitoria.
Valencia Basket await Barça Regal in the semi final (Saturday at 19.00). The American doesn’t think it makes any difference that his side has already been beaten by the Valencians twice this preseason, a team he defines as “young but tough, good in defence and improving in offence”.
