In the presentation of the Barça Regal-Dallas Mavericks match, which will be played on the 9th of October at the Palau Sant Jordi, the director of Azulgrana basketball highlighted the importance of the game between the two sides
The match between Barça Regal and the Dallas Mavericks, which will be played on October 9 at the Palau Sant Jordi, was officially presented this Thursday afternoon at the Barcelona Olympic Museum. The presentation was attended by Joan Bladé, director responsible for the team; Maite Fandos, deputy mayor of Barcelona; Jesús Bueno, vice-president of NBA Europe; Jordi Beromeu, CEO of the Euroleague; Joan Creus, technical secretary and manager Xavi Pasucal.
Guaranteed show
Barcelona will be the last stop on the NBA Europe Live 2012 tour. Bladé, in an interview with Barça TV and www.fcbarcelona.com, said: “the fact that FC Barcelona are one of the teams of the tour situates the Club among the best in the world.” For this reason, for the director, it will be an “important and very special day.” He added that “playing against a team from the NBA guarantees a show. We’ll make an effort so that Club members have priority access to the tickets.”
This will be the seventh time Barça will face off against a team from the best league in the world. However, it will be Barça’s first game agains the Mavericks, the 2011 NBA champions.
